Public
Relations
and Employee Communications
Client:
Electronic
Arts
Electronic
Arts is the largest interactive software company in the
world, with 12 studios in five countries and revenues of
$1.3 billion.
The
Challenge:
Generate maximum publicity for the opening of Electronic
Arts' landmark 207,000 sq. ft. studio and corporate campus
in Vancouver, and make sure that all 1,800 employees around
the world would have a chance to view the festivities.
The
INSINC Solution:
INSINC's remote broadcasting team managed a day-long live
netcast of the opening event, which was attended by Canadian
Prime Minister Jean ChrŽtien. Highlights have been archived
on the company's website.
The
Result:
The event was a public relations bonanza and hundreds of
viewers watched the netcast. The Electronic Arts PR team
and the Prime Minister's office both appreciated the control
provided by netcasting, the chance to deliver a complete
message to the public rather than just a few soundbites
on the TV news. Electronic Arts employees in other countries
enjoyed watching the day's events.
