Webcast Operators

The Opportunity

INSINC is looking for Webcast Operators to join their growing team.  As a member of our production team you will be responsible for monitoring live scheduled webcasts.  As a Webcast Operator you will work out of our main Broadcast Operations Centre (BOC) and be responsible for all managing our scheduled live events from an A/V and IP perspective.  You must have extremely high standards, be attentive to detail and be procedure oriented.  You must be able to effectively communicate with clients, vendors and internal support staff in troubleshooting webcast issues.

Desired Profile

  • Knowledge of Internet and/or broadcasting disciplines
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to monitor events and take affirmative action if any webcast issues arise
  • Willing to work hard, show initiative and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Ability to “be on call” when required
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • You must show an attention to detail and take pride in your work
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be a team player


  • Working knowledge of ISP networks and servers.
  • Understand TCP/IP networking
  • Webcasting experience using Windows Media, Real Media or Quicktime formats
  • Communicating with co-workers, customers, service providers, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve problems, provision services, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation


This is an entry-level position.  Part time positions are available
