The Grand Opening of the New Media Innovation Center was held October 18th, 2001.

NewMIC will be the preeminent hub for new media innovation in Western Canada. INSINC was one of the first firms to join as an industry affiliate.

Al Mattrick, Director of Business Development for INSINC, joined Ron Martinuk from SFU, one of NewMIC cofounders, and Sharon Romano of Emily Carr for an interview on the Bill Good show as part of the Grand Opening Agenda.

INSINC's Al Mattrick represents Industry Affiliates on the NewMIC Board of Directors. Mr. Mattrick also sits on the NewMIC Board executive committee.
