Saturday night’s game at the University of British Columbia will be featured TUCSON, Ariz. – University of Arizona men’s basketball fans will have the opportunity to view one of the games on the team’s trip to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada this weekend, as the Wildcats’ game at the University of British Columbia has been selected for a live broadcast over the internet. When Arizona meets the University of British Columbia on Sat., Sept. 2, at 7 p.m. PDT, the game will be streamed live over the internet due to a partnership between UBC and INSINC, a Canadian supplier of specialty sports webcasting. The webcast is available for $6.95 (Canadian) payable by credit card on-line through the following link: http://www.mediaontap.com/sports/basketball/ubc_arizona/ Jim Mullin of CKNW Radio will handle the play-by-play, while Howard Tsumura of the Province newspaper will add color commentary for the two-camera shoot. It is the first time that the University of British Columbia has attempted live internet streaming of a Thunderbird home event The game with UBC is the second of five games scheduled on the team’s tour which runs from Sept. 1-4.
