| GOLTV to Provide Live Coverage of Vancouver Whitecaps vs. David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy on Broadband
TORONTO, November 7, 2007 - Insight Sports Ltd. and INSINC announced today that GOLTV.ca will provide live broadband coverage of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC’s friendly home game against David Beckham and the Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy on Wednesday, November 7 at 10:00 p.m. EST.
Archived broadband coverage of the game will also be available on GOLTV.ca for the next 30 days.
GOLTV’s Lee Godfrey will provide play-by-play for the channel’s live coverage while former Canadian national team goalkeeper Paul Dolan will serve as a colour commentator.
Scheduled to take place at BC Place in Vancouver, the match featuring Canada’s United Soccer League First Division team has already sold more than 40,000 tickets.
In support of this game, GOLTV will be available on free preview for the entire day. Canadians can tune in to watch the match on Rogers Personal TV, channels 1 and 59; Star Choice, channel 459 and Bell ExpressVu on channel 404.
